Fifth Sun is a graphic apparel company based in Chico, Ca. As a Graphic Apparel Designer at Fifth Sun, I created a quantity of designs for different retail spaces— including Target, Urban Outfitters, Hot Topic, Boxlunch, Kohl’s, Ross, Walmart, Torrid, Maurice’s, Nine West, and many more. Responsibilities ranged from creating original trend-seeking graphic apparel, developing presentations for retail accounts, compiling trend pages for direction, and developing washes/patterns. Illustration, color theory, composition, typography, hand drawing, and trend research were utilized in order to create trending designs. In 2020 alone, my designs brought in more than $2.5 million in sales- with my Cacti Chart T-shirt being the #1 bestselling Junior’s original graphic tee.
